 Details of the 3W system

 The system is easy to operate. Just connect a load to the control box, a hydrogen source to the inlet of the pressure controller, and then to the fuel cell stack. Turn it ON. Suitable for fuel cell demonstration projects, and running small fans, and any electronics requiring power within the limits of the system.

  • Instantaneous startup from the beginning
  • No battery is required for the startup
  • About 2.5W at 5V regulated output is available for uses
  • Control system is powered by the fuel cell stack
  • Hydrogen is dead-ended with periodic release at the startup
  • Dead-end time can be varied in the range 4 sec to 35 sec
  • Hydrogen utilization can be close to 99%

Fuel cell stack can be used for unregulated power output of about 5W at 2.4V
