The Technology
The core technology of the company is
based on self-humidified operation of fuel cells. The company is a
developer and producer of PEM fuel cells offering at this time smaller
fuel cell stacks and systems, and high performing membrane-electrode
assemblies (MEAs). Such MEAs can be of the 5-layer type for PEM and Direct
Methanol fuel cells. Also, such MEAs can be of the 3-layer type (aka,
catalyst coated membrane or CCM) suitable for PEM, electrolyzer, and
reversible fuel cell applications. Nature of the technology allows fuel
cell systems to be more simplified and efficient in comparison to a system
that requires humidification. The self-humidification technology is based
on a unique MEA-type developed in-house as well as other design features.
PEM fuel cells offered by the
company can be operated up to about 70oC under self-humidified conditions.
The company offers quality products: high performing
fuel cells, and high performing MEAs for self-humidified and humidified
operations.
